Cream Sauce

Flavor Bomb All-Purpose Cream Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 Strips bacon
  • 20 g Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/4 cup White wine
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp Roasted garlic paste to taste
  • 1/2 cup Low-fat milk
  • Thyme to taste
  • Italian parsley to taste
  • Handful of Shiitake mushrooms optional
  • 1 tsp Chicken stock
  • Salt to taste, about 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Fry the bacon until crispy in 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  • Remove the bacon. Keep the fat.
  • Add 20g of butter and brown it.
  • Sauté diced onion until translucent.
  • Add 1/4 cup of white wine and deglaze the pan.
  • Add a handful of Shiitake mushrooms and sauté.(Note: I added mushrooms after the cream. Because It was a sudden decision)
  • Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of milk.
  • Stir in 1 tbsp roasted garlic paste and 1 tsp chicken stock.
  • Add thyme and parsley (optional, but boosts flavor!).
  • Sauté until the sauce thickens.
  • Taste and season with salt (I used about 1/2 tsp).
  • Grind in black pepper throughout.
