Handful of Shiitake mushrooms

to taste, about 1/2 tsp
Black pepper
Instructions
Fry the bacon until crispy in 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Remove the bacon. Keep the fat.
Add 20g of butter and brown it.
Sauté diced onion until translucent.
Add 1/4 cup of white wine and deglaze the pan.
Add a handful of Shiitake mushrooms and sauté.(Note: I added mushrooms after the cream. Because It was a sudden decision)
Add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of milk.
Stir in 1 tbsp roasted garlic paste and 1 tsp chicken stock.
Add thyme and parsley (optional, but boosts flavor!).
Sauté until the sauce thickens.
Taste and season with salt (I used about 1/2 tsp).
Grind in black pepper throughout.
